January 11 2012- I am heading to the gym so I will put up my weight loss goal later today. I wanted to share my current workout with you! It takes about 15 minutes and I am doing it twice a day, it really get's your heart pumping so feel free to modify it. I have put some modifications next to some of the work outs.
50 arm circles (25 forwards, 25 backwards) 50 jumping jacks 15 push ups (knee push ups) 25 sit ups (crunches) 40 mountain climbers (20 for each leg) 1 minute plank (start with 30 sec.) 10 burpees (jump rope or regular push up) 20 squats (Lunges) x2/repeat If it's two much try the modification and/or cut it all in half and do that twice. The idea is that you get your heart rate up, take a 5 minute break and do it again so you build endurance.
So I finally weighed in at 158.5, my goal is to loose 13.5 pounds. Matt and I are starting a diet today. I am limiting myself to 1800 Calories a day and Matt is limiting himself to 1900. Go us! Keep up the good work everyone!
I just bought the cookbook,"How to Eat What You Want." The author is a dietician, Marlene Koch. She takes recipes that everyone loves and cuts the carbs, calories, fat, and salt without compromising the taste. I will post the good ones as I try them. EAMPLE: An order of Pork Lo Mein at P.F. chang's has 1419 cal., 72 grams of fat, 168 carbs, and 5,337 grams of sodium. her recipe (same size) has 320 calories, 35 carbs,9 grams of fat, 1140 grams of sodium.
I have also ordered her new book that ships on March 5,"How to Eat More of What you Love". This one includes Lasagne in the slow cooker. If you replace one day each week with her recipes you will lose 5 pounds a month.
I just broke through the 230 stalemate!! I am down to 229, so that makes a total of 12 pounds. So, Rachel, you can reduce the lady model by 4 pounds since last time I logged in I weighted 233.
January 3, 2012 = 241 pounds (insert sad face here)I am one big pillow!
ReplyDeleteWith each pound lost I will shrink our virtual weight loss model until she has lost 100 pounds.
